I'd certainly be interested in the information or your reasoning on Thomas Adcock to Georgia, especially the time frame.
Thomas Adcock, who was in Georgia, and received Rev War bounty land grant of 287.5 acres in Franklin county, Ga. along with a brother James Adcock in 1784. Later both lived on lands in Hancock, Richmond & Columbia counties and sold land that was bordered by a John Adcock in 1790. I have always been interested in who this John Adcock was and his possible relationship to these Adcock brothers, (I believe this John Adcock was related to Edmond Adcock).
Thomas Adcock drew blanks in the 1805 Georgia land lottery and moved to Baldwin County, Mississippi Territory, (later Baldwin County, Alabama), where he and his wife were killed in the Creek raid on Fort Mims on August 30 1813.
I always get a little excited when I see anyone post about a Thomas Adcock in Georgia.
