I descend from Edmond's daughter Joanna Adcock via her marriage with Rich John Malcom. Please check my web site below for more information. I have been remiss in investigating this line and would like to learn more of Edmond's history and roots.
Four of Edmond Adcock's children married children of James Malcom, Revolutionary Soldier of the North Carolina Continental Line.

He married Joannah Stinson.

Nancy Adcock was born in Augusta County, Virginia 1780c.Polly died 1851 Georgia, at 71 years of age.She married David Clement Malcom in Georgia, 1800.David was born in Buckingham, Buckingham County, Virginia 1776.David was the son of James Malcom RS and Nancy Sarah Gannaway.He married Nancy Dickinson 1810c.David died 1835 in Walton County, Georgia, at 59 years of age.David served in Major Thomas Hogg's Battalion, Captain Townsend's District, War of 1812. Represented Walton County in the Georgia Legislature. He was on the county's first Grand Jury in 1819.
9 viii. Mary Adcock was born in Virginia 1785.Polly died 1807-1814 at 22 years of age.It is not known exactly when Polly Adcock Malcom died. She married Ganaway Malcom in Lincoln County, Georgia, 1803.
Ganaway was born in Buckingham, Buckingham County, Virginia 1780.Ganaway was the son of James Malcom RS and Nancy Sarah Gannaway.He married Rebecca Whatley Hawk in Morgan County, Georgia, October 30, 1814.VRI lists name as Rebecah Hawk. Letters of adm on William Hawk estate list name as Rebeckah Hawk.
Ganaway died January 1, 1838 in Walton County, Georgia, at 57 years of age.He was buried January 1838 Georgia, Malcom Family Cemetery.Ganaway was a planter in Morgan County, Georgia, and resided near Rock Springs Baptist Church.
10 ix. EdmondAdcock Jr. was born in Virginia 1787.Edmond died March 7, 1860 in Walton County, Georgia, at 72 years of age.April 13, 1860 has also been recorded as his death date. He married Sarah Sally Malcom in Lincoln County, Georgia, March 22, 1806.Cited source has the names as SALLEY MALCOM m. EDMOND ASCOCK. Sally married Edmond one day after her brother John married Edmond's sister Joanna.
Sarah was born in Staunton, Augusta County, Virginia 1787.Sarah was the daughter of James Malcom RS and Nancy Sarah Gannaway.Sarah died 1860+ Georgia, at 73 years of age.Previous gedcom showed death date of 1845c.
Edmond was listed as the head of a family on the 1830 Census Georgia.

Joanna Adcock was born in Virginia 1788.Joanna died 1823 Georgia, at 35 years of age.She married John Malcom in Lincoln County, Georgia, March 23, 1806.Rich John was born in Buckingham County, Virginia 1783.Rich John was the son of James Malcom RS and Nancy Sarah Gannaway.He married Nancy Jane Hawk Morgan County, Georgia, April 1, 1830.Rich John died December 25, 1862 in Walton County, Georgia, at 79 years of age.He was buried December 1862 Georgia, Green Cemetery.Rich John Malcom lived in Lincoln County where he owned a large amount of land from 1789 to 1807 when he moved to Morgan (which had just been created). He built his home in 1807 just over the Morgan County line in Walton County on 17,188 acres. He was a founding father of Madison, Georgia, and served as a soldier in Major Thomas Hogg's Battalion, War of 1812. John Malcom moved to the Blasingame district in Walton County, Georgia in 1833.
