My ggGrandfather, Lewis Smith, was born 1825 in Butler co, OH (grandfather Ephraim Smith d. Preble co, OH). His grandmother & Ephraim's wife was Rebecca Addington.

Lewis Smith's grandson was my grandfather and he kept journals. He recorded on June 6, 1927 that Cole Lewellyn died. (My grandfather lived in Fayette co, IA)

I saw your Lewellen/Addington post and just wonder - any connection?
