I would like to know the historical significance of Palestine to the Addington clan.I have a copy of a journal written in the 1870s by a daughter of an Addington from Union Co. GA who was taking a train trip to visit her AMOS relatives in Texas,but mentions also visiting in Palestine TX...was wondering if she had Addington Relatives there as well.This girl's Mother was Laura Ann Net Addington, daughter of March Addington.Her father,R.N. Amos,was killed in action in Tennesee when she was very young.She was visiting his brother,FM Amos.I would be most interested in knowing who in the Addington family lived in Palestine during this time.Any help appreciated.
