Harriet (Fox) Addison was married to James W. Addison of Seneca Falls, New York. I know little about Harriet although I have seen her family line posted on the Internet, but it had errors so I didn't download the poster's information. She was purportedly descended from French Heugenots.
I have some data on her husband, James W. He was the younger brother of Lucy Addison, who is in one of my family lines.
James was born 10 Mar 1817 in Diss, Norfolk, England to Samuel Addison and Mary (Unknown). Samuel and Mary had 7 children born in Diss, all christened at the Wesleyan Methodist Church. There is a daughter named Frances.
I don't know when they immigrated to Seneca, Ontario Co., New York, but Samuel bought property there by 1841. Ontario County Deed Index, Grantees, 1789 - 1845, Abbey through Ayres YEAR, LAST NAME, FIRST NAME, GRANTOR LAST, GRANTOR FIRST,LIB, PAGE 1841 Addison Samuel, Boardman Deming, 70144
