I have a fair bit of info on Rev. Robert Addison, including a lengthy news article from 1933 ( biographical) that states that "he was born in the year 1754, probably in the old gray stone house of two storeys, named Moss-side, in the parish of Levens, Westmoreland" , land records, and there is a web site that I'll look up again if you can't find it, that has many of his marriage, baptismal and burial records. It's interesting because his own 2 daughters came to Canada and were married, and had children baptised by Rev. Robert (his wife Rebecca, did not come to Canada until after he died:- she brought my ancestor, one of Robert's nephews). I think I have the words from his grave marker copied down in my papers here and I think my brother either has or will have soon, a photo of the grave and is also doing other research in this area.
Somewhere in my old photos there is a picture of the historic marker about him that is posted in front of theMohawk Chapel in Brantford, Ontario.
