Ron, I have been researching Parker Adkins for over thirty years. There is not one bit of information that Mary was a Fry, Littleberry, etc. She definitely was not Bluesky. Parker did not leave the Franklin County area until the early 1770's. Even if he had went to the Pt. Pleasant area on a hunting trip [a long way through hostile country] in the 1740's there is no way he would have brought back an Indian lady to marry. He and Mary left the Pigg River area in 1773 and settled on the Sinking Creek of today's Giles County. He was involved in the Battle at Pt. Pleasant [Bluesky's area] the next year. All of their children except Sherrod B. were born in what is today Franklin County.
