Deborah, You are right. The Granger County line of Adkins is like a giant puzzle with most of the pieces turned wrong side up. There was an earlier Stephen, son of Morris, that killed William Hunter-Adkins allied family-and was hung in 1815 for murder. I believe this Morris was a son of the older Richard, son of William and Elizabeth. I do not recognize any of the ones on your list.
Some of these Granger County Adkins left that area and joined their cousins in what is today Wayne County, West Virginia while others, such as Winston and Winright moved to Eastern Kentucky. Maybe someday we can put it together. Ronnie A.
