Claudine, must be something to do with my punctuation.I know nothing of the Agee family till 1900.In the mean time Mr. Charles Agee has been very helpful. It does not help that 1900 Census Fred says born in VA, 1910 He says born in TN (I do not know the dates of when some of Virginia became part of Tennessee. The only time I have seen the name George Agee was as listed in Leavenworth County, KS deaths as age 74 died May 9, 1929.I have no idea if connected to Fred or not.I do think everyone can help all people if they will just say ( I have not documented this but family legend has always said - - - .)Mr. Charles Agee pointed out that Peter Fitch and Agee bride was not in Sullivan County, TN after 1850. Since our Nancy (Preston) did not marry John Fitch till 1868 - lets us know several years have passed.I have found where our Fred and Nancy Agee are buried- but have not documented Fred's death date. His name is on the same stone as Nancy and she died in 1921 and finally we have confirmed her maiden name.I have no idea of the Agee but he must have been a pretty decent male to marry a widow woman with not only step children but orphaned stepgrandchildren. Thanks Claudine for responding and trust I have not offended anyone with remarks that sometimes in print does not come out like if a person was carrying on a conversation.Sincerely,Charlotte (still in Kansas)
