According to information I found online, author JAMES AGEE was born 27 November 1909 and died 16 May 1955. He was the son of Laura and Hugh James AGEE. He graduated from Harvard in 1932.He was nominated for an Academy Award for best screenplay adaptation for "The African Queen."He also accompanied photographer Walker Evans to Alabama to document the plight of tenant farmers.In 1957 he was posthumously awarded a Pulitzer Prize for his fiction, "A Death in the Family."

Tyler.) JAMES RUFUS AGEE's line is Matthew-Anthony-Isaac-James-James-Henry Clay-Hugh James Agee. This information is listed in the book on page 577. He is listed as having been married three times and he is listed as being the father of four children, two sons and two daughters.
