My name is Kathy Mesa and I saw you message on Pedro R.Aguilar.My story starts at my great-grandparents who were named Timateo and Theodora Aguilar. They were both from Mexico.I believe their roots are from Aquaclientes and or Jalisco. My great-grandparents had sixteen children but only nine had survived.the names of their children were Pedro, Salvador, Edward, Esquivel, Rosindo, Beatrice, Hermelinda, Helea, Nora (these are the ones that survived). One of my great uncle's were named Pedro Aguilar. He was older than my grandmother(Hermelinda). My grandmother had nine children herself. In which, my mother is named after my great-grandmother her grandmother.
During the revolution in Mexico, my great-grandparents left Mexico and moved to El Paso, TX.My grandmother was only 6 months old.She was still a young girl when they moved to California. They settled in Pacoima which is in the San Fernando Valley. My family has been in the Valley since the mid 20's.My family is one of the original families.
My great uncle Pedro had four children. My aunt's name escapes me for now (I will follow-up with one of my relatives on that) My uncle's children names were Pedro Jr. (Peter), Mary, Rudy, Rita.My uncle Pedro moved to Lompoc back in the 30's or 40's.Those children have had children which are in my generation. So urrently, I have lots of Aguilar blood in Lompoc still living there. If you are a cousin, please respond back to me. I would like to here from you.If you know more information since your last posting, please respond as I am curious.
