Cork by the Royal Irish Constabulary. One of the jurors in this inquest is a William Crotty. Interestingly, this Crotty is challenged as to his fitness to serve on the jury because he is an American citizen. He allows as how he is from Missouri and has been back in Ireland for twelve months. The coroner decies he is currently residing in the district and is qualified to serve on the jury.
