I am searching here because I have a photograph circa about 1913 of Jenny and Frank Aiello on their wedding day.I discovered that they lived in New Rochelle, NY just next door to the Monaco's who my G-grandfather Guiseppe Leo stayed with when he first came to the USA.The Monaco's I am told, were cousins. In researching this family, I happend to see that Jenny and Frank Aiello were their neighbors. Were they just friends or related???I am just breaking through the Italian Leo side of my family, and would love to know more about the extended family. Anyway I have copies of Monaco christmas greetings, a Monaco WW soldier and also the Aiello wedding photo.
My g-grandfather Guiseppe Leo came to the USA around 1907 and can be found on the 1910 New Rochelle, NY census. The family he is staying with is: Alexander, Mary, and children Jenifer/Gesuipe? (daughter) 15, Harry 13, Fiore? (son) 11, and mother Caroline Monaco widow aged 80.Looks like Caroline had 12 children by this date, only 6 surviving.
1920 New Rochelle census has Fiore married and living next door with wife Ettire? and 1 year old son Alexander. One more house down is Frank and Jenny Aiello with children William, VIncent and Nancy.
Please reply if you have any info regarding these persons or just want a copy of the photo...
