That is interesting. From my studies, the name Aiello is derived from the Latin word "Agrellis"(maybe misspelled) which means farmer. There are also two cities in Italy that share the same name. One is Aiello Calabro in Calabria and the other one Aiello del Friuli which is in the Friuli region near Udine.
