I have very sketchy info actually more like a hint; My great grandmother was Emma Matilda Coates b. Jul 1863; d.22 June 1932 Gosfield Twp, Essex County, Ontario, Canada; married to Ammon Noble b. 01 Jun 1863 Essex Co., Ontario, Canada; d. 04 June 1949 North Bay, Ontario, Canada. All we know is that greatgrandma's mother's maiden name was Ainslie or Ainsley and as such is now used a given name in our family. The only way I even found this much out was by asking where the name came from. I am new at this family history research and although I can find many Ainslies listed in Essex and Kent Counties in Ontario, so far I have found no listing of one marrying a Coates and to make things worse, I don't know what his given name was either. Emma's sons were named Thomas, Orville, Albert, and Earl and her daughters were Lois Rebecca and Anne. I know that the Thomas and Lois Rebecca names are common in the Noble line, but not the other names. Could there be another clue in there somewhere? Please HELP!!!
