Brooklyn Union-Argus 10 March 1882 Funeral of Mrs Mary AITKEN The funeral of the late Mrs. Mary AITKEN, wife of ex-Alderman William F. AITKEN, took place yesterday from the house, 350 State street. The body was borne by hand from the house to St. Peters P.E. Church, near by, followed by a long train of mourners. The pall-bearers were Keeper of the City Hall, P. TORMEY; Major TYSON, of the Thirteenth Regiment; Captain DURYEA, Captain CROCKER, General DELACY, Major TATE, Captain Edward M. SMITH and Arthur L. DURYEA. The service for the dead was read by Rev. Charles A. TIBBETS, rector ofSt. Peter's. Beautiful floral offerings were placed at the head of the casket. The interment was at Greenwood. I am not related & have no other info.
