In my line I have a John Aitken married to an Ann Reid in Ayrshire, Scotland. They emigrated to Nova Scotia around 1820-ish. They had (that I know of) a daughter Ann Donald (b 1818), and a son John W. D.(b 1825).
We might be cousins.
