Dear Rob,

Having spent the last 15 years on and off researching my name back up through the North of England, through Lancaster, Lindale and beyond I have finally found someone interested in the same name. I have made several searches on the internet in the past finding only tenuous links to the name with no-one showing real interest in the roots of it. I would therefore be very interested in sharing my extensive information on the Akisters of Lindale, Windermere, and North Yorkshire if you can help me fill some of the gaps which I have.
