I am sure we are related! How scary is that as an opener!
I am an Akister and live in Norfolk. My Father was Frank Akister and his Father lived in Nutsford, Cheshire for centuries. My second cousin Peter ahs done some sterling work on getting the Akister family tree together, and as far as I can recall we go back to Barrow in Furness in Cumbria. I have a wife and 2 boys Edward and George, Edward keeps the family name of Goodliffe going. This was the maiden name of my Great Grandmother, who sadly I never got to meet. So hope I have made contact with another Akister, who is related to me!
