The Albeas I have knowledge started arriving and settling in northern Hancock Co. and southern Madison Co. Indiana in 1860s through 1890s. Each brother paid for the move of the next brother. They were all farmers. I do not know why they migrated. The name spelling of ALBEA is all that I can find. I will be researching the Hancock Co courthouse records in Greenfield next month. Altho, Shelby Co is next to Hancock Co there could be some family ties.
