Mrs.J.Alice Cawley,wife of Charles H.Cawley of 739 Reeder street died at 12:30 o'clock this morning at her home following a stroke of apoplexy ear;y last week.Her health had not been of the best for some time,but she was able to be about and to attend to home duties and to some of the activities of her church in which she was greatly interested.Mrs.Cawley was the daughter of the late Robert and Susan Albert of Flicksville,this county,and had lived here in Easton many years.Besides her husband she is survived by three children,Mrs.Fred P.Martin and Clarence R.Major of Easton and Albert M.Cawley,of Allentown; by two sisters,Mrs.Rebecca Middaugh of Bangor,and Mrs.M.W.Willer,of Stroudsburg,a brother,Robert L.Albert Sr., of Flicksville,four grandchildren and one great grandchild.Mrs.Cawley was a faithful and devout member of St.Peter's Lutheran Church,College Hill,and of the Ladies Aid society and the Missionary society.

Alice 2/20/1930 p.5 Funeral Of Mrs.Cawley The funeral of the late Mrs.J.Alice Cawley wife of Charles H.Cawley,was held at 2:30 this afternoon at her home 730 Reeder street Rev.Charles R.Trowbridge,a former pastor of St.Peter's Lutheran church and Rev.C.W.Shaffer the present pastor of that church,had charge of the services and interment was made in the Easton Heights cemetery.Relatives acted as pallbearers.
