Curiously enough, I have heard about your grandfather Harry - I was exchanging emails last year with a guy who went to school with him :-)
Through that contact, I finished up writing to a Mrs Irma White and had an answer from her around six months ago, the gist of which was "Yes, Albertsen; yes, Ærø; but no, not mine".
So I'd be most interested in any further information about your line. Ærø is a tiny island, so anyone from there is likely to be related, somewhere along the line.
No, I haven't tasted Frickadilla - maybe you could send me the recipe?
When I was growing up in Australia, the overwhelming push was for everyone to be "one of the blokes", rather than "foreign" in the slightest respect.
(Luckily, we've become much more cosmopolitan in the last 30 years or so).
Happy to exchange emails with you. You'll find my address on this site, attached to my posting(s).
