Bonnie: Look at the 1900, 1910, 1920 & when available this fall the 1930 United States Census records for Danville, Illinois and see if you can locate the people you are looking for. Also try the City Directory for Danville, Illinois available thru the Danville, Illinois main library. Also gather together any and all information that you have on your mothers family and then go to a Family History Center which is part of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day-Saints (The Mormons). They have volunteers who will hold you by the hand and will walk you thru all the things you can do to find your ancestors. They will not and I repeat will not do the work for you, however they will assist you in any way that they can. They have access to records from around the world thru the main library in Salt Lake City, UT. Your cost to bring in microfilm rolls is about $3.50 a roll which covers the cost of two (2) way mailing and the film is available for you to look at in their library for about 3 weeks, and you can renew the film for an addittional time frame.
