Karen,
Yes, it is true that Perrin Allday lived to be 100+ years
old according to the newspaper in Richmond, VA which noted
his marriage to his third wife Mrs. Tankersley. Perrin was
105 at time and she 95.Mrs. Tankersley's husband and
Perrin had been competing ordinaries in Charlotte Co.(Inn
keepers)for several years. This was in 1805.He is still
on the census for Charlotte in 1810.Seth Allday is the
son of Perrin and his first wife, Frances Lockett. Perrin
is referred toin the will of the father of Frances as
my beloved son-in-law, Paryn(Perrin)Allday.Perrin was
the son of Elizabeth Perrin and John Allday of Henrico.
