Re: Early Virginia Aldays
Thank you for the fast reply. So the Seth who married Judith Moon in 1813 was the son of SEth Alday,m Bozwell and that Seth was the s/o Perrin Alday and Frances Lockett.I found Thomas Lockett's will on file in Weisger's Abstracts.
I don't find wills for several others, but that's neither here nor there.
Do you have the children for Perrin Alday? My main focus is on the Perrin's at this point, but I have a hunch that may change. We're finding a number of connections to the Perrin's in the Field's family as well and the Alday's seem to show up in NC ith some Fields that are obviously connected to the Perrin's and Cardwell's. It's a long confused story, but I wonder how many other children there are for Perrin Alday. At this point, all I've found are Seth, Sarah d. 1823 age 70?, and probably a Joseph. I'm not sure if Joseph belongs with Frances or with Susanna Allen Sublett.
I think Susanna Allen Sublett then had at least a John (and possibly the Joseph previously listed). I don't think he had any with the widow Tankersley
Do you have other children. I looked on the Charlotte Co page and didn't find much.I have few sources for Charlotte Co, although I do have Charlotte Co Rich Indeed, so I'll have to go check there as well.
Thank you for your help.
