Hi Marcela.We are all excited here in Australia to find our ancestry. Thank you so much for your help. Have you found any more information? I wonder if Agustin's baptism took place in the La Matriz del Salvador' church. I read that it is the oldest church in Valparaiso and the only one standing when he was born.
Guess what? We have just met an Alderete from the Philippines! His ancestor must have left Spain about the same time as ours did.
