I think I may have some answers for you. Samuel Noah Alderman (1900-1959)
Samuel Alderman and Selma (Smith) Alderman are in the 1930's census in Williams, Josephine, Oregon shows "Billie" born 1923 and a Robert Alderman born 1929 in Washington State. Robert is the first child of Samuel and Selma. Robert recalls that "Bille" was also "Morris", I only have this as an oral history. The story is that Samuel went West for logging and sometime between 1930 and 1940 Samuel and Selma are walking on a road when they hear a car they lean out to see it.Samuel loses his balance and falls in front of car he is then run over injuring his back and legs he is reported to be wheelchair bound for the rest of his live. Samuel and Selma returned to West Virginia and "Billie" was returned to his mother.Samuel and Selma are in 1940 census in Huntersville, Pocahontas, West Virginia.I am still searching for more records between Leona Pearl Madison Alderman White and Samuel Noah Alderman and records of Samuel and Selma marriage and births of their 8 children.
