You said "Sophronia Alexander m. William Johnson is my line. They settled in Brown Co., IN. Wm was listed in 1850 Brown Co. Census with his family. Sophronia apparently died about 1851/2 because William remarried an Ally Wilson in 1852. She was listed alone in the 1850 census. Then he apparently died because she remarried a Solomon Lucas on 27 Jan 1855 and a Samuel Smith on 29 Jan 1855 in Brown Co."
Sophronia Alexander was a sister of my ancestor, Mary, and a daughter of Reuben Alexander & Jane/Jean Allen Wilson. I have a great deal of documented information on the Alexander line if you would be interested.
There is one point . . . does it make sense that Ally Wilson married Solomon Lucas on 27 Jan 1855 and then a mere two days later married Samuel Smith on 29 Jan 1855? Something is wrong here, don't you think?
