There is a film at the LDS family History Center that has the gen. rec. of the Rockbridge Va. Pres, Church. The record that was microfilmed is quite extensive family info from a Alexander family member in the 1800's. I am sorry, I can not remember who and when exactly. Alexander/ Parks and McClures are on this rec. There are some errors,( it is this individuals family history and you know how that goes!)You can do a search at family search.org and get the film number and order it. A number of these Alexander's went to Kentucky. Archibald in particular. These are the Alexanders I have been chasing through Estill Co, Kentucky, and into Indiana. This is also where I found the errors, he sort of lost track of how many stayed in Kty and Indiana.I found a will in Kty for one Reid Alexander, he said went to Mo. This is the group my Moses Alexander is connected to - but they are hard to sort and figure out.Trying to pin down Moses' dad for years!I have the film above on indefinate loan at my FHC and study it from time to time. There is so much in it and it takes a lot of time. If you are in this family, you should see it as it was done so long ago and was so much closer to the principle players. Happy Hunting!
