Thank you for posting about my BELL and Jordan Alexander. I have the same info you posted. However, I didn't know if you had the BELL info. Here is what I have on Sarah BELL:
NAME:George S. BELL (Sarah's grandfather) BIRTH DATE:ca 1784(Virginia) DEATH DATE:ca 1860(Georgia?) MARRIAGE: Sarah ________? (born in South Carolina ca 1786)
STATES/LOCATIONS:George and Sarah moved to the Pendleton District (Anderson, Pickens, and present-day Oconee Counties of South Carolina) and had a large family. Only three of the sons have been identified.
George S. Bell and wife Sarah ________ were on the 1830 Pickens County (formed from Pendleton district) census.
George BELL sold land to his son John BELL in 1831 and 1832. One of the witnesses was a Gideon Martin. Some of the MARTIN family and another BELL family moved to Mississippi. They are descendents of a William Bell, born 1727 in Antrim, Ireland. Are these BELLs related to my line?
My George BELL bought 150 acres in Cherokee county GA 1/22/1849.The last record for George and Sarah is the 3/13/1855 sale of land to John FLORISH.
George and Sarah died sometime between 1855 and 1860.
