Roy Allen s/o Daniel Allen and Margaret Layman / Seveier County TN
Question is whether Margaret Layman had cherokee bloodline, and if anyone has any information on her fammily tree. Roy was said to have a large percentage of Cherokee blood - believed to be from mother's side.

Roy Albert Allen (b: 10/15/1900 Sevierville, TN d: 11/20/1973, Idaho Falls, ID at age of 73 from pneumonia. Served in World War II and worked as a smelter worker. Buried at Rose Hill Cemetery. Married 2nd wife Trula C. Allen (3rd cousin)) on 10/30/1923 St Anthony, Fremont County, ID) later moved to Anaconda, ID. Married third wife Eva Maryalice Lague (b: 2/2/1912 d: Mar 2 1995 Idaho Falls) on 3/29/1944. No children with Eva. Eva had son Robert and other children from prior marriages. One child with Trula Allen – Elva Ruth Allen and raised Kenneth Ray Allen who had different biological father.Roy was previously married to Trula Allen’s older sister Minnie Allen (also 3rd cousin) based on marriage records from Sevier County TN. Roy Allen’s death certificate lists Alton Allen and Bertha Ashley as parents which evidence supports that this was not accurate.Roy Allen had a brother Alton and sister Bertha. Sevier county library iists Roy Albert Allen's parents as Daniel W. Allen and Margaret Layton. Roy and Trula (and Minnie) were third cousins from their paternal sides of their families (their grandfathers were brothers).
