Re: William Henery Allenbaugh

My great grandfather was John Allenbaugh whose wife was Sarah Travis. My grandfather's death certificate says he was born in Illinois but there is a family story about the family fleeing a prarie fire in Kansas.
Grandfather was born in 1861. Could there be a link to William?
I do know that grandfather went to school in Kansas. Please let me know if you have any information that would help me. Thanks
