I am from another Alley line, but I may be able to help you out.I used to work with a woman with Domaris (this was the way she spelled it) as a first name.When I asked her about the origins of her name, she said her father was a minister and he got the name from the Bible.She also said it only appears in one verse. Sorry, I can't remember the verse.
