Mary Alley the sister of John H. Alley and the daughter of Shadrach Alley and Mary Price married James Price.James Price (1779-1855) and Mary Price Alley (1781-1880) are buried in Price Family Cemetery, Hollis, Rutherford County, NC.James Price was the son of John Ernest Price and Leanna Lively who are buried in the same cemetery.John Ernest Price and Leanna Lively had another son named John Jacob Price who married Jane Sims the daughter of Littleton Sims and Hannah Mitchell.They are my ancestors.The genealogy of the descendents of John Ernest Price and Leanna Lively was published in October.The parents of Mary Price who married Shadrach Alley are not known to me.It is possible that her brother was John Ernest Price but I have found no conclusive proof.
