Alley Ancestors, at page IA-8, lists William Henry Harrison Alley, b.1813, son of Jonathan Alley (B1787 VA) and Catherine Harvey/McCarty (1788).William married Caroline Jane Rooch (b1815)in 1832; their children are listed as Sara M. 1833, Robert V. 1835, Malissa 1837, Martha 1840, Catherine 1842, Mary Ann 1846, and William H. 1849.Jonathan Alley (1787-1854) married Catherine Harvey/McCarty (1788-)in 1810 and Emily Meek Monehan (1789-1879) in 1848.Jonathan was the son of Samuel Jay Alley (b.1761 in Henrico Co., VA-1847) and Mary Catherine Osborne (1786-1856), who were married in 1786.Samuel, who was apparently a Revolutionary War soldier, was the son of James L. Alley (1728-1798) and Azby Christian (1730-1798).James was the son of Thomas (1690-1773) and Frances Reavis (1700-1771).Enjoy!
