You say that John Young Allgood was the father of John M. Allgood?I did not have that info, I only knew that he was from VA.

I have much info on J.M. Allgood's military service with the CSA including the 5th Miss. Infantry and the 9th Miss. Cavalry.Maybe you have more details, all I have is muster rolls and one discharge paper.

Did you know that he also had a son in Confederate service? John I. Allgood was in the 8th Miss. Infantry.

I have lots of info on Daniel Union that I got from one of his Grand Daughters.If I can find her address, I will put you in touch.

I would be very interested in any additional info you might have on J.M. or family.
