Hello, I come from Peter Patrick Allgood's line.He is my GGGgrandfather and was John Allgood's brother.Their parents were William and Mary Allgood.It is believed that William is buried in Walton County, GA but I don't know where.Most of the Allgoods went to Paulding county GA where they built the Allgood Methodist Church.The church no longer holds services, but they do have an annual gathering of Allgoods, usually in August.Many of the Allgoods are buried there.I wasn't able to go to last year's gathering, but now live in Cedartown, GA not too far from Paulding co.The lady I was emailing about the gathering is Mrs. Jones, her email is cnsjones@yahoo.com. She may have information about John and Sarah or could put you in touch with someone.My 2nd cousin has compiled a lot of information on the Allgoods but has been very ill.
When she is better, I will see what she has on John.
Maybe you could make it to the Allgood gathering this year, I'm sure you could get quite a bit of information there.
