Re: Amaral, Manuel Augusto, Açores, Portugal
am researching the name of Rita Amaral. She is listed to being married to Ildefonse Santo (Silva). Her birthdate would probably be 1855 or earlier. She had a son named Joseeph Ernesto Santo (Silva). On family documents or church documents, the family used interchangably "Da Silva Da Santo" or simply "Santo" or "Silva". Rita is the only Amaral I am showing at this time. Rita may not be her first name or the name she was Christened with, since I have found no record of a "Rita" so far. Any help would be most appreciated.
A 1930 Orlando, FL census shows "St. Michael, Azores" crossed out. Maybe Joseph Santo and his parents "Ildefonse" and Rita Amaral were frmo St. Michael - don't know. The rest of the family documents say "Azores" or sometimes Pico, Azores.
Other family names: Enos, Mattos, Dutra
