Barry:My message was to a woman in Oklahoma named Marcia Scott who is in a line of Amblers different from mine, but probably connected somehow with some Amblers who came to America in the early 1700's.She is related to the William Ambler who married Sarah Shatto.I was able to trace this William Ambler back to one of those who came here in the 1700's.But the information I have only listed Sarah Shatto as William Ambler's wife.I did have a birth year of her of 1810. But that is all I have on her.
Her husband was born in 1805 and died in 1856.Marcia Scott's email address is mfscott@fullnet.net She may have more information on Sarah Shatto, but I think her line was the William Ambler.

In some other notes from Ambler researchers, I have a notation from the 1970's of a woman, Jannie Ward Robertson who was living in Patterson, California at the time. She said that her great-great grandparents were William and Sarah Shatto Amble from Guernsey County, OH.She said her great- grandmother was Jane Ambler,b 11-9-1833 in Guernsey Co.Ohio, and married Nelson Ambrose Miller.
