Thank you for changing the colors on your web page-it is so much better.I have a book entitled 18th Century Register of Emigrants from SW Germany.It lists:
Jacob Amann as emigrating 1784 from Medard/Zwbr (which is Zwiebrucken) to Hungary. A Johann Amand in 1764 going to Hungary, and other pronunciations that could be Ammons in today's pronunciation.They all went to Hungary.
I wonder why they would have gone to Hungary?The Debbie Cook from WVA that I have met in the past is definitely related to you.Her records are identical to your web page.She is descended from David Ammons out of Isaac if I remember correctly.til later, Peggy
