Jacob/Abraham Anderson before 1850 Tennessee

I am looking for relatives of a Jacob Anderson who was a Cherokee Warrior prior to taking the English "christian"name of Anderson..He was reportedly captured near Mulberry Gap,Tennessee where he he was "civilized" to the whiteman's ways and given the white name...His son was Abraham Anderson also of Mulberry Gap,Tennessee who lived and is buried near there..Do not know Jacob's Cherokee Indian name or his wife's name..Any help on the history of this Anderson family would be helpful.I have a great deal of information on some of his descendents thru one grandson who immigrated west to Iowa which I will gladly share.Need info on other offspring of Jacob's besides Abraham..Or other offspring of Abraham other than a Lewis A.of Des Moines,Ia. Any info or leads would be greatly appreciated...
