"This offering is for the Otto Anderson family bible. This family history is from around Kansas City and I can tell that the descendents were in Kansas City around 1963. The bible includes marriage records, children names, ancesters, descendents, births, deaths, an original marriage certificate from the 1880's.A funeral program obituary for Otto Anderson in 1930. I want the descendents to have their history and I hope this finds some member of the Anderson family. Otto W. Anderson and Amanda Anderson are the family listed on the title page of the bible.
The bible in it's self is a great piece of history. The binding is in bad shape but the contents have survived. Originally, It was most likely sold from the Sears and Roebuck catalog. This was advertised as a keepsake family bible. In this case the bible seems to have survived the family. If you know of Andersons from around Kansas City please have them look at this listing.
The photos are almost certainly Otto, Amanda and their children. Based on the tintype I would guess that they were take from 1890-1920.
The marriage certificate appears to be an original. The ink has turned brown but is still very readable if you can read Swedish."
