ISABELLA WHITE ROGERS b. Nov. 17, 1777 in NC ( probably in or near to Cabarrus Co. NC or possibly Mecklenburg or Rowan Co. NC ).She is daughter of JOSEPH ROGERS b. 1735 in Rocky River Settlements, now Cabarrus Co. NC and wife ISABELLA WHITE b. 1739 ( possibly born in PA in 1739 ) and she is dau. of MOSES WHITE.Isabella White Rogers brother MOSES ROGERS had been a bondsman on her marriage record to DAVID ANDERSON and I have in my files that MOSES ROGERS b. 1764 NC married wife MARGARET McKINLEY.
ISABELLA WHITE b. abt. 1739 PAand JOSEPH ROGERS b. 1735 Rocky River Settlements NC resided in Rocky River Settlements but hedied on Sept. 29, 1829 in NC and is buried in the Old Bethpage Cem. near Enochsville, in Rowan Co. NC, along with his wife ISABELLA WHITE ROGERS who d. 1809 NC.Their dau. ISABELLA WHITE ROGERS b. 1777 NC and husband DAVID ANDERSON then had moved to BEDFORD CO. TN where David Anderson died and is buried in the CROWELL - ANDERSON Cem. in Bedford Co. TN as is Isabella White Rogers Anderson who died there onSept. 25, 1847.
The CROWELL Family of Rowan Co. NC and MONTGOMERY CO. NC also had connections to HICKMAN CO. TN and other ROGERS there as they had CROWELLS / McMACKINS in their lines who traced back to the same CROWELLS of Montgomery and Rowan Co's NC who are later in HUMPHREYS CO. TN, bENTON CO. TN and CARROLL CO. TN with some later being in Hickman Co. TN.The CROWELL / McMACKINS also connected to my own ROGERS families in Carroll Co. TN as they did to the ROGERS in HICKMAN CO. TN.It isn't surprising then that we see this HICKMAN CO. TN file for DAVID ANDERSON there too :

"Robert Anderson, Sr., "being advanced in years" died Dec 30, 1861, according to papers filed in connection with a case in Chancery Court heardin Centerville in Jan. 1862, the petitioner being his widow Mary.Two wills purporting to be of the deceased were brought out as evidence: one dated 9 March 1855 witnessed by DAVID ANDERSON, Wm . Underhill and G. Gantt: the second will date 17 Sept 1860 witnessed by T. L. Grimes and S. J. Williams.Heirs named were Mary (Polly) Anderson, Robert's widow; his children: Robert B., William C., Joseph. L., Jane Hooten, Elizabeth young, wife of Natainiel Young, and Matilda Cotton wife of S. W. cotton, Louisa Mobley wife of L. C. W. Mobley, and Adaline Rice.Court ordered that Freancis M. Miller, Cristopher Nichols, and James N. Bingham set apart a years's support fore the widow and that Nathaniel C. Weems and Orrin A. Jones work with the County Surveyor Samuel C. Aydelott to lay off her dower.In March 1862 Orrin A. Jones was declared unable to serve and Henry G. Cummins was appointed in his place. "
