We are desendents of Albert Anderson Sr. who was born in some part of Sweden around 1874. He was the oldest of a large family. We learned through the grapevine that his father froze to dealth in a sleigh leaving his mother a widow and with many children.Albert was around 14 when he, Charlie,George and Ellen migrated to the United States(his younger siblings). No passenger records have ever been found so we assume they were stoaways. Not much is known after that for what reasons we do not know. He never told the name of his parents or which part of Sweden he originated. We do know that somehow he ended up in Maline,Illinois and worked for the railroad. He married my grandmother around 1907 in Quincey,CA when he was about 32. They eventually ended up in Oakley, ID around 1912 to help build a dam. He died in Burley ID in 1949. He had 3 sons, Albert Jr.(my father),Vaness and Ray. All have since passed on but we know we have lots of family out there who is yet to be found. If any of this rings a bell, please respond!!!!
