The following marriage is George Washington Anderson (1848-1930) son of William A. Anderson (1826-1872) and Mary Ann Chandler (1828-1852)

George W. Anderson ) to ) ss. Louisa Handy ) Be it Remembered, That on this 26th day of June, 1871, the following Marriage License was issued, to-wit: Indiana, To-Wit: Brown County, SS. To All who shall see these presents, greeting: Know ye, that any person empowered by law to solemnize marriages, is hereby authorized to join together as Husband and Wife, George W. Anderson and Louisa Handy, and for so doing, this shall be his sufficient authority. I, testimony whereof, I, William L. Cox, Clerk of the Brown Circuit Court, hereunto, subscribe my name, and affix the Seal of said Court, at Nashville, this 26th day of June, 1871. (Seal) (signed) William L. Cox, Clerk. Be it further remembered, That on this 29th day of June, 1871, the following certificate was filed in my office, to-wit: Indiana, To-Wit: Brown County.
