Re: James Andrews, CT, Del. Co. NY 1780-1848

I have been looking for a James Andrews b. abt 1789 probably in CT.His father John settled in Chenango Co near to 1800.

I have a Stephen Andrews m. to Sophronia Carpenter (he is brother of James)Stephen had a son Lyman W. Andrews b. 1818.He m. Anna Oldfield.I assume Lyman only had one wife, but I don't know for sure.

Lyman had a daughter Mary A. Andrews m. to James H. Palm. There are also other siblings.

I don't have all the information on this family so don't know if there could have been a Sophronia Andrews.

This family of Andrews also lived in Delaware Co.
