I have spent over 30 years researching the family of Edward Ancell (d 1832) and Sarah Catterton (m 1775) of MD and VA.I am most interested in learning about their English ancestry.Although we do not have any of the names of Thomas used until later generations I am most interested in corresponding with other family members who believe that they can connect these families!The descendants of Edward Ancell did indeed marry into the BEASLEY family.They moved to Orange Co., VA and then through KY to MO.Some descendants migrated through WV.I have extensive data and documentation on their lives in the states, however have been unable to cross the "big pond".I would welcome any documentation and proof (or leads) to connect them to the English family of which you speak.Sincerely, Judith Weeks Ancell, 1810 Edgecliff Terrace, Boise, ID 83702-2911Phone: 208 342-6023.
