I had to look up Mary Anselme and Samuel Howard's marriage license--it was for September 9, 1870 in Marshalltown, IA.Mary was born 6/18/1954 in Marshalltown, she died 10/29/1907, Benton County, IA; Samuel died 5/2/1918 in Benton County, IA.Children:
John Reed Howard 12/12/1887, Luzerne, IA; Gertrude Howard Martin, Marshalltown, 5/18/1876; Albert Hooker Howard 10/23/1873, MO; Samuel Ray Howard, Luzerne, IA 11/13/1890; Georgiana Howard 8/2/1881.

I do remember following up on Joseph Anselme regarding burial plots and the schooling of children; however, I cannot put my hands on it right now.I just alwaysran into a dead end over the years.

I also received a note this weekend from a Michael Bruenig regarding Anselme family.Haven't had a response from my reply yet.
