Katherine Gardner APEL, a life-long resident of Brooklyn, died on Thursday at her home, 326 Union street, of pneumonia.She is survived by her husband, Gustave Frederich APEL; three sons by a former marriage,Walter Gardner Lubbe, Charles Gardner LUBBE and Frank Hall LUBBE, and by the following children of her second marriage: Gustave Frederick APEL, Jr., Louis James APEL, Harold Dixon APEL, Gertrude Anna MORRISON, wife of the Rev. Lewis Chester MORRISON, rector of St. Marks Episcopal Church, Adelphi street, and Alfred Lyman APEL.Three sons are in the U. S. Army, one serving in France and the others stationed at Camp Alexander, Newport News, Va.The Rev. Walter De Forest JOHNSON will officiate at the funeral service tomorrow afternoon at 2:30 at Christ Church, Clinton street.Interment at Evergreen Cemetery. I am not related.
