Hello Mary, Briefly I will explain what I have regarding some of your questions, but first I will say that after reading Michael's notes on these "family trees" I too have a similar one that Michael has about Heremengildo & Josefa Nunez. It is an old copy, faded but readable and it has Heremegildo at the top, married to Josefa Nunez, with an indication saying that he was a half brother to Anastacio, Agapito & Anacleto & Catarino as well as their sister Maria Ynes Canuto.
Then as I searched for information about this particular Hermenejildo Apodaca, I did find on the Mormon site that they had a son named Preciliano.Although it's not written on my copy, when I searched for a Presciliano Apodaca I found there were 2.The first being the son of Hermenejildo and the secondone is a junior, son of the first Presciliano. Then there are two children on my list named; Onesima & Juan Apodaca. They are also listed on the Mormon site as children of one Presciliano Apodaca (est. bd Mar 1847)& a woman named, Bruna R. Apodaca!! Their marriage year is est. 1897 and it says they were married for 3 years.
Now the other Presciliano was married in 1881 in San Elizario, EP, Tex to a woman named Antonia Jurado.
I don't know if this is the same Juan you are asking about but it could be as well.
It's true that Norma's husband, Felix is descended from Anacleto Apodaca, Michael comes from Agapito on his mother's side and on his father's from Juan & Petra.Myself, I come from Agapito's side as well, on my mother's side.I don't have any knowledge of the three brothers living in Socorro at the same time, but they very well could have since many of their children were there, but also some migrated to New Mexico.
The father of the famous 3 brothers who married 3 sisters, was also named Hermerejildo. However, I found a census that has his name spelled as "Ermerejildo. He was married to a Concepcion Baca.
I also have another item from the Mormon's of a Juan Apodaca, Sr. bd. 30 Mar 1848, he was the son of Anastacio & Dolores Apodaca, date of death; 25 Apr, 1919, unfortunately the site did not list his wife, but id did have him as married, he is buried in Socorro.
I realize this may be very confusing, however it is documented on the Mormon records, so now it's a matter of literally deciphering the information into the correct family tree.
I'll await your email, yes I live in California, I am in Orange County, city of Yorba Linda. Teri Romero
